Kent founded Dorothy’s Power Foods after discovering he shared the same genetic heart condition as his Mom, that led to all of her siblings passing away in their mid-70s due to sudden cardiac arrest. Dorothy transformed her health and lived to 95, so Kent decided he needed to do the same. After decades of high-stress jobs at Fortune 500 companies and advertising agencies, he started Dorothy’s Power Foods to spend the rest of his time focused on getting nutritious, clean food where it is most needed.
Tanya is founder and owner of Balanced to a T Bookkeeping. Her role in Dorothy’s Power Foods is to keep the financial systems in the organization running smoothly and helping develop strategies that will ensure long term financial success of the businesses.
A retired KC Fire Fighter, Ed is a food industry veteran and co-founder of Food Truck Central KC, a shared commercial kitchen that serves many of Kansas City’s best mobile food companies. Ed’s role at Dorothy’s Power Foods is teaching and mentoring on creating and producing safe food products, and assuring the kitchen environment and equipment is clean, running effectively, and able to effectively meet DPF’s production needs.
John is a health-conscious food enthusiast and founder of UX West, LLC, a brand and digital marketing consulting firm. His role at Dorothy's Power Foods is brand development, website design and content, photography and support of ongoing sales and marketing activities.
